State Finals Recap: Tribe v Austin Royals

This was a rematch from a week 8 game where over 900 yards of offense was produced between the teams and over 150 points scored. Tribe led 22-15 at halftime, keeping the Royals out of the end zone on 4th down inside the 10 yard line. What looked to be a defensive struggle, turned into a route as it started to rain sideways in the 3rd quarter and Tribe put up 30 unanswered points in the second half. The offense was led by Samuel Osborne who finished the game with 352 rushing yards and 2,910 for the season. Defensively, Lake Mills and Travis Guy led the team with 14 and 10 tackles respectively as the defense gave up only one long TD run in the second half and otherwise held the Royals to 76 yards rushing and 80 yards total offense.
