Tribe rolls past rebuilding Giddings State 46-0

The Warriors know what it was like to have to rebuild after last seasons 1-3 start having lost access to their home field "The Pasture" and relegated to practicing in a local park. Likewise, the Giddings State Mustangs had not fielded a team for two years due to Covid and were in the process of getting re-established with a new coach.

The Mustangs were in the giving mood as they had 4 turnovers which the Tribe turned into 32 quick points. The short field made for only 180 yards of offese for the Warriors as they quickly put the game out of reach by half-time.

The real test would come the following week when the Tribe takes on TCAL 2021 state champs Smoking for Jesus.
